Is my recording private?
Completely. CoughWise listens and counts coughs entirely on your iPhone. Your audio is never uploaded — there's no account, no cloud processing, and clips you keep stay on your device. You can delete any night, anytime.

What's free, and what's premium?
Nightly tracking, your Cough Score, your last two weeks of nights, clip playback, streaks, and sharing your night are free forever — we never paywall your own data. Premium keeps every night beyond two weeks, your full long-term trend, and all your cough clips.

How do I cancel? Is there a trial?
Both plans include a 7-day free trial and there's no weekly plan. Cancel in one tap: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → CoughWise → Cancel. To avoid a charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

What does my Cough Score mean?
It's an honest, on-device estimate of how coughy your night sounded — useful for spotting whether a cough is settling or sticking around. CoughWise is a wellness app, not a medical device, and it can't diagnose anything. If a cough worries you or hangs on, please talk to your doctor.
