CoughWise's whole job — listening overnight, telling coughs from other sounds, and scoring your night — runs entirely on your iPhone. Your audio is analyzed on-device and is never uploaded. The app makes no network calls with your data at all: no account, no cloud analysis, no analytics trackers. Clips and history live on your device and you can delete them at any time.
On your device: your nights, saved clips, scores, trends, streaks, and settings. On our servers: nothing. Subscriptions are handled by Apple; the app checks your subscription status with Apple's StoreKit on-device — we never see your payment details or identity.
We do not upload your audio. We do not sell or share your data. We do not require an account. We do not use advertising trackers.
CoughWise is a wellness and self-awareness tool. It does not diagnose, test for, or treat any condition, and it is not a medical device. Cough counts and scores are honest estimates for your awareness — if a cough is frequent, worsening, or worrying you, please talk to your doctor.
